AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.70.030 OF THE SAN MATEO COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE |

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ORDAINS as follows:

HEREHEREHERE SECTION 1. Section 2.70.030 is amended and shall read as follows : |
|
The Commission shall consist of nine members who shall be (a) one member of the Board of Supervisors, (b) the Director of the Human Services Agency, (c) the County Superintendent of Schools, (d) the Chief of Pediatrics, San Mateo Medical Center, (e) the County Manager, or his/her designee, and (f) four members appointed by the Board of Supervisors from among the following categories: recipients of project services included in the county strategic plan; educators specializing in early childhood development; representatives of a local child care resource or referral agency or a local child care coordinating group; representatives of a local organization for prevention of early intervention for families at risk; representatives of community-based organizations that have the goal of promoting nurturing and early childhood development; representatives of local school districts; and representatives of local medical, pediatric or obstretric associations or societies.
