RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND DLC FOSTER CITY, LP AND TRITON ASSOCIATES, LLC AS TENANTS IN COMMON FOR WAREHOUSE SPACE AT

1164-1166 TRITON DRIVE, FOSTER CITY, CALIFORNIA

(LEASE NO. 1266)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a four-month lease of real property ("Lease"), reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo shall lease 7,980 square feet of warehouse space for $5,700.00 per month from DLC FOSTER CITY, LP and TRITON ASSOCIATES, LLC as Tenants In Common, in that certain building located at 1164-1166 Triton Drive, Foster City, California in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said agreement, and

WHEREAS, the Lease commences May 1, 2004 and expires on August 31, 2004 unless sooner terminated as set forth therein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with the Lease and has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Lease for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto; and

 

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the County Manager or designee is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County, any and all amendments, options, notices, consents, approvals, terminations and documents in connection with the Lease, except as otherwise provided by applicable law, including the County's Ordinance Code and Charter.
