RESOLUTION APPROVING TWO AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND CONCEPT MARINE ASSOCIATES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, both parties have entered into an agreement for the provision of consulting services by Marine Concept Associates for a period of April 15, 2003 through December 3, 2003, for a total obligation of $99,800; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the agreement for the provision of additional consulting services by Marine Concept Associates to assess security concerns, facilitate an Interpretive Focus Group and develop recommendations for interpretive possibilities associated with the Werder Fishing Pier, landscape improvements and security measures; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the agreement to increase the amount by $3,000 for a total obligation of $102,800 and extend the agreement end date to March 30, 2004; and

WHEREAS, the California Coastal Conservancy has granted an additional $3,000 in grant funds for the Werder Fishing Pier Restoration Feasibility Study.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors hereby approves two amendments to the contract between the County of San Mateo and Concept Marine Associates as herein described.
