RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY DIRECTOR TO APPROVE THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE WORKFORCE STATEGY CENTER AGREEMENT TO GRUBER AND PEREIRA ASSOCIATES, LLC.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County and the Contractor entered into an Agreement with Workforce Strategy Agreement on July 1, 2003 for the purpose of providing employment and training services to dislocated workers; and

WHEREAS, Gruber and Pereira Associates, LLC., has been providing such services while waiting for authorization of assignment from the County of San Mateo, Employment Development Department and Workforce Strategy Center; and

WHEREAS, the Contractor, the Assignee and the state agency that funds the contracted services have all agreed to the assignment; and

WHEREAS, the Human Services Agency has determined that the proposed Assignee can satisfactorily perform the responsibilities specified in the Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the County of San Mateo approves the assignment of Workforce Strategy Center's Agreement to Gruber and Pereira Associates, LLC., and this Board of Supervisors authorizes the Human Services Agency Director to execute all documents needed to approve the assignment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo.
