Resolution Fixing a Time and Place for a Public Hearing to Consider the Formation of a Underground Utilities District on Old County Road - Belmont Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to form an underground utility district after holding a public hearing in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.40.030, Chapter 4.40, Title 4 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that this Board hold a public hearing to consider the formation of an underground utility district on a portion of Old County Road in the Belmont area; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

This Board will hold a public hearing to determine whether the public necessity, health, safety or welfare require the formation of an underground utility district and the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures within the area, said District being shown on the certain plat entitled "Proposed Underground Utility District - Old County Road - Belmont Area" in Exhibit "A" and described in Exhibit "B". Said Exhibit "A" and "B" are attached hereto, and made a part hereof.

Said Public Hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m., on Tuesday, the 27th day of July 2004, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors in the Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, California.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Director of Public Works is directed to notify all property owners within proposed District and all utility companies which will be affected and provide services within proposed District by sending copies of this resolution by first class mail at least ten (10) days prior to the date of said hearing.
