RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH

THE AIDS COMMUNITY RESEARCH CONSORTIUM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Amendment to the Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the AIDS Community Research Consortium shall provide a food program and health education services to HIV/AIDS Clients of the San Mateo County; and

WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement shall remain March 1, 2004 through February 28, 2005, and the amount of the Agreement shall be reduced by $60,500, from $332,200 to a new total obligation not to exceed $271,700; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with the Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Amendment to the Agreement:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Amendment to the Agreement with the AIDS Community Research Consortium is hereby approved, and the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid Agreement as approved by the County Manager and County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
