RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF SAN MATEO MEDICAL CENTER TO EXECUTE INTERFACILITY TRANSFER AGREEMENTS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, San Mateo Medical Center needs to have signed Interfacility Transfer Agreement with all local hospitals; and

WHEREAS, Most of the current Interfacility Transfer Agreements are outdated and require updating; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors as the governing body of the County of San Mateo may delegate the authority to execute said documents to the Chief Executive Officer of San Mateo Medical Center or an authorized designee; and

WHEREAS, the authority to execute these documents will facilitate timely approval.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of to authorized the Chief Executive Officer of San Mateo Medical Center or an authorized designee to act for the Board in the approval of Interfacility Transfer Agreements.
