Resolution Approving the Non-Disposal Facility Element Revision to the San Mateo County Integrated Waste Management Plan.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board, in January 2004, approved the Five Year Plan Review Report (Report) for the County Integrated Waste Management Plan as required by the regulations of the California Integrated Waste Management Board; and

WHEREAS, the Report identified the need to revise the County’s Non-Disposal Facility Element of the County Integrated Waste Management Plan; and

WHEREAS, the City/County Association of Governments, acting as the Local Task Force (LTF) for the California Integrated Waste Management Board, has approved the updated list of non disposal facilities for the entire County; and

WHEREAS, the Non-Disposal Facility Element Revision for the County contains facilities from the list approved by the LTF that are located in the unincorporated area of the County, or which service the unincorporated areas of the County; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the Non-Disposal Facility Element Revision of the County’s Integrated Waste Management Plan be approved and this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that this Board hereby approves the Non-Disposal Facility Element Revision to the Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan.
