BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE BY THE COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION OF A PORTION OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL 041-320-110 CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 1.2 ACRES OF UNIMPROVED LAND AS A SITE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMUNITY SCHOOL
(Permit No. 5300)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a Permit For Use Of Real Property ("Permit"), reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo authorizes use by the San Mateo Office of Education of certain County-owned real property on Tower Road, consisting of 1.2 acres, more or less, situated in Unincorporated San Mateo County, State of California, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" to said Permit, for the purpose of constructing a community school; and

 

WHEREAS, the term of the Permit shall be for forty years unless sooner terminated as set forth therein, for the total compensation of one dollar ($1.00); and

 

WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25372 allows the County to enter into an agreement for such purpose by a vote of the Board of Supervisors; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such agreement, and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

1. That the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute the Permit for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

 

2. That the County Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized to accept, execute and/or agree to on behalf of the County, any and all amendments, options, notices, consents, approvals, and documents in connection with the Permit including, without limitation, those necessary to facilitate the intended use, except as otherwise provided by applicable law, including the County's Ordinance Code and Charter.
