Resolution Authorizing the President of the Board to Execute a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration, Dated July 30, 2004, Half Moon Bay Airport - (AIP Project No. 3-06-0097-09, Contract No. DTFA08-04-C-31508)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has offered the County a grant in the amount of $186,200 for the installation of an airport rotating beacon and automated weather reporting system at the Half Moon Bay Airport; and

WHEREAS, as a condition of receiving these grant funds, the FAA requires the County to enter into an agreement which provides the conditions governing the use of said grant funds by the County; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed said agreement and considered same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to sign said agreement dated July 30, 2004, on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and

2.

the Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized and directed to attest to the signature of the President of this Board to said agreement.
