Resolution Authorizing the President of the Board to Execute a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration, Dated August 27, 2004, for the San Carlos Airport -
(AIP Project No. 3-06-0210-09, Contract No. DTFA08-04-C-31552)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has offered the County a grant in the amount of $1,857,000 for the resurfacing and remarking of the runway and taxiways, and the installation of 300-foot stopways at each end of the runway at the San Carlos Airport; and

WHEREAS, as a condition of receiving these grant funds, the FAA requires the County to enter into an agreement which provides the conditions governing the use of said grant funds by the County; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed said agreement and considered same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

The President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to sign said agreement dated August 27, 2004, on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and

2.

The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized and directed to attest to the signature of the President of this Board to said agreement.
