OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SECTION 8 PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF HOUSING) OR MANAGER OF HOUSING OPERATIONS TO UPDATE THE PLAN AS NECESSARY TO CONFORM WITH HUD HOUSING LAW AND REGULATIONS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California; that

WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires that housing authorities develop an Administrative Plan to govern the operations of the Section 8 Program and that such plan be kept current to conform with ongoing statutory and regulatory changes; and

WHEREAS, an Administrative Plan has been developed by staff which conforms to the requirements of HUD and incorporates all current HUD housing law and regulations; and

WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to approve the Administrative Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, approve the Section 8 Administrative Plan and that said Administrative Plan is to be transmitted to HUD as required and that the Executive Director (Director of the Office of Housing) or Manager of Housing Operations is authorized to make such ongoing revisions to keep it current with HUD housing law and regulations and transmit the revised plan to HUD without further review.
