RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO SIGN A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES (CDHS) FOR BIOTERRORISM PREPAREDNESS AND TO SIGN ANY AND ALL SUBSEQUENT AGREEMENTS, ALLOCATIONS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS GRANT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Health Services Agency was awarded funding during FY 2002-03 and FY 2003-04 for activities related to Bioterrorism Preparedness; and

WHEREAS, the California Department of Health Services has distributed grant agreements to all California counties for 2004-05 covering the period of July 1, 2004 to August 30, 2005, for a total award amount of $1,162,094;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board hereby authorizes the President of this Board of Supervisors to sign said grant agreement with the California Department of Health Services for Bioterrorism Preparedness for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo and to sign any and all subsequent agreements, allocations and other documents related to this grant, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
