RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED GRANTING ANY INTEREST THE COUNTY MAY HAVE IN A SLOPE EASEMENT OVER PROPERTY OWNED BY ROBERT S. AND KAREN J. HOEXTER IN EL GRANADA AND IDENTIFIED AS ASSESSOR’S PARCEL 047-173-130 AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE TRANSFER.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County holds a slope easement interest over a small portion of the Hoexter property in El Granada adjacent to San Pedro Road; and

WHEREAS, vacation of the slope easement has been made a condition to private development of the property; and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that the slope easement is no longer necessary for County purposes and is of nominal value.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be authorized to execute a quitclaim deed to transfer any interest the County may have in the property to the current owners, Robert S. and Karen J. Hoexter, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 with five days public notice prior to the transfer, and any such interest shall run with the land.

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the County Manager or designee is hereby authorized to execute any documents necessary to complete the transfer.
