RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. CMO 04 07A WITH THE PHILLIPS GROUP FOR INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE SAN MATEO COUNTY YOUTH SERVICES CENTER

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County entered into Agreement No. CMO 04 07A, dated July 14, 2004, with The Phillips Group for inspection services for the San Mateo County Youth Services Center project; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement increasing the not-to-exceed fee by $232,400, from $78,000 to $310,400 and extending the term of the contract from January 6, 2005 through December 31, 2006; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendment to Agreement and said Board has examined and approves same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
