Resolution Authorizing the Erection of a Stop Sign on Altschul Avenue (County Road No. 528) at its Intersection with Ashton Avenue (County Road No. 537) – West Menlo Park Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, a stop sign on Ashton Avenue, was previously approved by this Board to stop traffic on Ashton Avenue before said traffic entered the intersection of Ashton Avenue and Altschul Avenue; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a stop sign be erected on Altschul Avenue to also stop traffic before entering the intersection of Altschul and Ashton Avenues in order to provide for the orderly flow of traffic through this intersection; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to install a stop sign on Altschul Avenue, County Road No. 528, in order to direct traffic on Altschul Avenue to stop and yield the right-of-way before entering the intersection of Altschul and Ashton Avenues.
