RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA,ON BEHALF OF THE SAN FRANCSICO GENERAL HOSPITAL CLINICAL PRACTICE GROUP, FOR MEDICAL DIRECTION AND CONSULATION TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM FOR THE TERM OF JANUARY 1, 2005-DECEMBER 31, 2006 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $205,080

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby, the Regents of the University of California, on behalf of the San Francisco General Hospital Clinical Practice Group will provide medical direction of the Emergency Medical Services System, in accordance with Division 2.5 of the California Health and Safety Code and Division 9 of Title 22 of the California Administrative Code; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to enter into an agreement for the period of January 1, 2005 – December 31, 2006 for a total obligation not to exceed $205,080; and

WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a form of the Agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreement:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement with the Regents of the University of California, on behalf of the San Francisco General Hospital Clinical Practice Group.
