RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE LESLEY FOUNDATION FOR BONNIE BRAE TERRACE, REHABILITATION AND UPGRADES AT 2400 CARLMONT DRIVE IN BELMONT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, under Agreement # 066792 (“Original Agreement”), the County of San Mateo and The Lesley Foundation (“Contractor”) entered into an Agreement to provide CDBG funds for the Bonnie Brae Terrace Rehabilitation and Upgrades at one of three buildings at 2400 Carlmont Drive, Belmont, CA; and

WHEREAS, Contractor under a separate Agreement, received additional funding to provide Rehabilitation and Upgrades for a second of three buildings located at 2400 Carlmont Drive, Belmont, CA; and

WHEREAS, it is now the mutual desire and intent of both parties, the County of San Mateo and Contractor, to amend the Original Agreement, to increase the amount of funding from $165,000 to $266,185, to provide for a Facility Improvement (Sprinkler System Installation and related services) Loan for the third of three buildings at Bonnie Brae Terrace, 2400 Carlmont Drive in Belmont for the period of 7/1/2004 to 6/30/2005; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, a First Amendment to the Agreement between the County of San Mateo and The Lesley Foundation, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the same as to form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said First Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
