Reappointments to the Housing and Community Development Committee

RECOMMENDATION:

Reappoint the seven members of the Housing and Community Development Committee whose terms are expiring and have indicated they wish to remain members.

VISION ALIGNMENT:

24) Residents accept individual responsibility for contributing to the quality of life of the County as a whole.

BACKGROUND:

The Housing and Community Development Committee is charged with making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, through the Director of the Office of Housing, related to the expenditure of all housing and community development funds; review and provide a forum for public comment on affordable housing and community development needs and priorities related to the development of the Consolidated Plan and related Annual Action Plans, and a public forum for comment on accomplishments and performance as related to said Plans.

There are fifteen members of the Housing and Community Development Committee. Seven of these members have indicated that they would like to continue their work on the Committee and be reappointed.
