RECOMMENDATION:

Accept DAAB’s 2005 annual report.

Goal(s): Civic engagement -- including voting, public service, charitable giving, volunteerism, and participation in public discussions of important issues -- is uniformly high among the diverse population of San Mateo County.

BACKGROUND:

The Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board has decided to submit an annual report to the Board of Supervisors in order to convey their accomplishments in the last year and their goals for the next.
