Resolution Authorizing the Establishment of a Passenger Loading Zone on Middlefield Road (County Road No. 29-B) for the San Mateo County Day Labor “Pilot” Program - North Fair Oaks | |

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that | |
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Day Labor “Pilot” Program, (Program), a pilot program to match day laborers with potential employers, is proposed to be established adjacent to Middlefield Road in the North Fair Oaks area of San Mateo County; and | |
WHEREAS, the establishment of a passenger loading zone in conjunction with the Program will provide a safe location to facilitate the matching of job seekers with potential employers; and | |
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a passenger loading zone be created along Middlefield Road adjacent to where the Program is proposed to be established; and | |
WHEREAS, this Board has considered and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works. | |
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that a passenger loading zone is established as follows: | |
Along the southwest side of Middlefield Road (County Road No. 29-B) commencing at a point 120 feet northwesterly of the centerline of Berkshire Avenue (County Road No. 390-A) and extending 51 feet northwesterly therefrom. | |
