RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING
|
|
|
Harry A. Hanson, Jr.
|

WHEREAS, Harry A. Hanson, Jr., an acknowledged pioneer in the practice of family law, was instrumental in bringing to San Mateo County the services of Kids’ Turn and its unique model of guiding parents and their children through divorce; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, through Harry’s dedication and long-time support, Kids’ Turn has helped approximately 100 San Mateo County families since fall 2002; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Harry has been involved with Kids’ Turn since the organization’s inception in 1988, and has played significant roles in ensuring its fiscal viability; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Harry’s numerous awards and achievements include being the former president of the San Mateo County Bar Association, former board president of the Family Service Agency of San Mateo County and recognition by “California Lawyer” magazine as one of the state’s most respected family-law specialists; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Harry is a role model to others in the legal profession by distinguishing himself and demonstrating leadership through his tireless and unparalleled devotion of time and talents to his community.
|
|
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County congratulates Harry A. Hanson, Jr., upon his recognition by Kids’ Turn, and joins Kids’ Turn in expressing its heartfelt thanks and extends sincere wishes to Harry and his family for continued success.
