RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING | ||||
CRYSTAL SPRINGS UPLANDS SCHOOLPARENT ASSOCIATION25 YEARS OF SUPPORTING THE CSUS COMMUNITYTHROUGH ITS ANNUAL MANSION MADCAP AUCTION | ||||

WHEREAS, for 25 years, the Crystal Springs Uplands School Parent Association has helped Crystal Springs Uplands School become one of the most respected college preparatory day schools in San Mateo County; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the Crystal Springs Uplands School Parent Association has raised more than $3.4 million, allowing the CSUS to develop new programs in technology and fine arts, build new facilities and retain vital faculty and staff; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the Crystal Springs Uplands School Parent Association has a proud tradition of volunteerism, with 45 past chairs donating multiple resources to ensure a learning environment of diversity, creativity and a sense of responsibility and commitment to the surrounding community; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the Crystal Springs Uplands School Parent Association has encouraged thousands of families to participate in their children’s education by devoting time, as well as raising high their auction paddles year after year for all CSUS students, faculty and staff; and | ||||
WHEREAS, for a quarter century, the Crystal Springs Uplands School Parent Association has turned the Mansion Madcap into a highly anticipated, yearly highlight, during which thousands of local groups and individuals generously contribute to CSUS so the school can continue its educational mission on the Peninsula. | ||||
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County expresses congratulations and sincere gratitude to the Crystal Springs Uplands School Parent Association and its volunteers for their unwavering and selfless commitment to maintaining a collaborative model for others to emulate. The Board further extends wishes for many more years of continued success. | ||||
