Resolution Authorizing the Director of Public Works to Apply for Additional Federal Funds Through a Program Supplement with the California Department of Transportation, to Help Finance Preliminary Engineering and Studies Associated with Constructing a Replacement Bridge on Crystal Springs Dam- San Mateo Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board adopted Resolution No. 64819 which authorized the Director of Public Works or his/her duly authorized representative to execute all Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements, Fund Transfer Agreements and any amendments thereto together with any other forms as may be required by the California Department of Transportation associated with grants for specific road improvement projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has notified this Board that the County is eligible for additional federal funding that can be used to reimburse the County for expenses associated with the design of a replacement bridge on Crystal Springs Dam; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that he be authorized to apply for said additional federal funding and this Board has considered and concurs in the recommendation made by the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED that

The Director of Public Works is authorized to apply for additional federal funding that is administered by the California Department of Transportation, for County expenses associated with a replacement bridge on Crystal Springs Dam.
