AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 04229

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 5 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

Coroner’s Office. Deputy Coroners assigned to provide lead direction to other Deputy Coroners shall receive a differential of 5.7% in addition to all other compensation. Only one employee at a time may be so assigned.

SECTION 2. Part 9 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

Extra Help. The hourly salary rate for E071, Library Aide, is set at range 1218.

SECTION 3. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

ORGANIZATION 59000 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Item E334S, Office Assistant series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 3 positions.

2.

Item E368, Public Services Specialist, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 2 positions.

ORGANIZATION 62000 PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES

1.

Item G098S, Social Worker series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 4 positions.

2.

Item G040S, Mental Health Case Worker series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 2 positions.

SECTION 4. Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance are effective on July 3, 2005. All other parts of this ordinance are effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
