Resolution Authorizing the President of the Board to Execute a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration, Dated April 12, 2005, for the Half Moon Bay Airport - (AIP Project No. 3-06-0097-10, Contract No. DTFA08-05-C-31572)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has offered the County a grant in the amount of $250,000 for the design of future safety and maintenance improvements at the Half Moon Bay Airport including the installation of additional airport security fencing, construction of a transient parking apron and a south access road, rehabilitation of airport taxiways; and airport drainage improvements; and

WHEREAS, the FAA requires the County, as a condition of receiving these grant funds, to enter into an agreement which provides the conditions governing the use of said grant funds by the County; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed said agreement and considered same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

The President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to sign said agreement dated April 12, 2005, on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and

2.

The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized and directed to attest to the signature of the President of this Board to said agreement.
