RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,000 FOR THE TERM OF FEBRUARY 1, 2005 THROUGH JANUARY 31, 2006.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors, for its consideration and acceptance, a Grant Agreement from the Peninsula Community Foundation to provide operating support for the Prenatal to Three Initiative; and

WHEREAS, the term of the agreement is February 1, 2005 through January 31, 2006 and the total dollar amount is $150,000; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved this Agreement as to form and content and desires to enter into this Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
