RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT ONE TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SOFTECH & ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR A FILENET CONTENT SERVICE SYSTEM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on August 31, 2004, the Sheriff’s Office entered into an Agreement with Softech & Associates, Inc., to install, configure, and customize a FileNet Content System, for an amount not to exceed $110,570 and a one-year term commencing on June 1, 2004 through May 31, 2005; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement, whereby Softech & Associates, Inc., will enhance the capabilities of the FileNet Content System to automatically update all documents when new index information is changed and saved, increasing the contract by $12,000, from $110,570 to $122,570, and extending the term by three months from May 31, 2005 to August 31, 2005; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendment and has examined and approved same as to both form and content, and desires to enter into same:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED THAT: the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized to, execute Amendment One to the Agreement with Softech & Associates, Inc., for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board of Supervisors shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
