BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PRESIDNET OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE A FEE COLLECTION AND DISBURSEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN WEST BAY SANITARY DISTRICT, THE CALIFORNIA STATEWIDE COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR THE LOS TRANCOS WOODS SEWER EXTENSION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, on May 3rd, 2005, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo agreed to become a participating member of the Statewide Community Infrastructure Program (“SCIP”) through the California Statewide Communities Development Agency (CSCDA), in order to facilitate the issuance of bonds for the construction of a sewer system for residents in the Los Trancos Woods area, and;

 

WHEREAS, on May 23rd, 2005, West Bay Sanitary District, the agency responsible for the eventual construction and provision of the sewer system, established through vote by their Board of Directors a supplemental connection fee for the participating properties in the Los Trancos Woods area through a Fee Collection and Disbursement Agreement as drafted by the California Statewide Communities Development Agency (CSCDA), and;

 

WHEREAS, as a member of the California Statewide Communities Development Agency (CSCDA), and as a participating member of the Statewide Community Infrastructure Program (“SCIP”), the County of San Mateo is required to be a signatory to the aforementioned Agreement; and

 

WHEREAS, the County is not financially responsible for any portion of the sewer construction project.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Fee Collection and Disbursement Agreement as established and adopted by the West Bay Sanitary District Board of Directors is approved, and the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to enter into the Agreement, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest to his signature thereto.
