RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO FOR PARTIAL FUNDING OF THE AIRPORT/COMMUNITY ROUNDTABLE

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that:

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the City and County of San Francisco will partially reimburse the County of San Mateo for the provision of consultants, professional services and operating expenses in respect of the Airport/Community Roundtable which deals with noise impacts in affected neighborhoods and communities from aircraft operations at San Francisco International Airport; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into an Agreement to provide partial funding for the Airport/Community Roundtable for the period of July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006 for a total obligation of $120,000; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of said Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
