Appointment to the Commission Aging

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the appointments to the Commission on Aging of the following:

A) Leslie Wong, Sylvia Merkadeau and Rubelia Horton to terms expiring June 30, 2007; and

B) Janet Hofman, Cheri Jackson and Kevin Worth to terms expiring June 30, 2008.

DISCUSSION:

Helen Karr, Marvin Goldman and Bertha Price have resigned from the Commission on Aging with terms ending 06/30/07 and it is our recommendation to appoint Leslie Wong, Sylvia Merkadeau and Rubelia Horton to fill the remainder of their terms. C.W. Roddy will term out effective 06/30/05 and it is our recommendation to appoint Janet Hofman to the new term for that position. William Lathrop and Robert Prevot have resigned from the Commission and it is our recommendation to appoint Cheri Jackson and Kevin Worth to the new terms for those two positions.
