FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. CMO 03 10B WITH SIGNET TESTING LABS, INC. FOR INSPECTION AND MATERIALS TESTING FOR THE SAN MATEO COUNTY YOUTH SERVICES CENTER PROJECT

This Amendment to Agreement, made and entered into this ________ day of ______________, 2005, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter called the County, and Signet Testing Labs, Inc., hereinafter called Contractor.

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, On November 18, 2003, the parties hereto entered into Agreement No. CMO 03 10B for inspection and materials testing for the San Mateo County Youth Services Center project in the amount of $306,629; and

|
WHEREAS, the Agreement was an estimate of services to be needed and required; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the amount and time of the contract to continue inspection and materials testing;
|
|
|
NOW THEREFORE, the County and Contractor agree to: Increase the maximum not-to-exceed total payment for additional services of Contractor by $93,371, from $306,629 to $400,000 and extend the term of the contract from November 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007.

In all other respects, the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
