BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION WAIVING THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS WITH CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL AND PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo receives yearly allocations from the California Department of Education to administer to the Child Care Coordinating Council and the Professional Association for Child Education for Stage 2 child care and developmental services; and

WHEREAS, the County is the fiscal agent for these funds and CCCC and PACE are the providers specified by the California Department of Education to provide such Stage 2 services and, therefore, the Board of Supervisors is being asked to waive the Request for Proposal Process for both providers; and

WHEREAS, This Board determines that it is in the best interest of the County to waive the Request for Proposal Process and has been presented with a form of such Agreements and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreements for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.

BE IT FUTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Request for Proposal Process be waived for both Agreements.
