THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA DESIGNATING SEPTEMBER 7-9, 2005 AS

“QUAD COUNCIL EEO TRAINING DAYS”

WHEREAS, THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA FEDERAL EXECUTIVE BOARD’S QUAD COUNCIL will hold its Annual Quad Equal Employment Opportunities Training Conference in San Mateo County in September 2005; and

   

WHEREAS, THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA FEDERAL EXECUTIVE BOARD’S QUAD COUNCIL represents the four Special Emphasis Program Managers’ Councils; and

   

WHEREAS, THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA FEDERAL EXECUTIVE BOARD’S QUAD COUNCIL is made up of the Disabled Opportunity Council, the Hispanic Employment Program Managers’ Council, the Equal Employment Opportunity Officers’ Council, and the Federal Women’s Program Managers’ Councils; and

   

WHEREAS, THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA FEDERAL EXECUTIVE BOARD’S QUAD COUNCIL’s mission is to create and uphold an inclusive conference by promoting change, growth, new insight, leadership and commitment so that the diverse needs of our workforce, community and country are integrated into how we conduct business within our respective agencies, organizations, and beyond; and

 

WHEREAS, THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA FEDERAL EXECUTIVE BOARD’S QUAD COUNCIL’s vision is that the educational information and knowledge from the conference will assist in the development of a workforce reflective of the relevant and diverse population of our nation, through time, effort, achievement, mentorship, worth, opportunity, respect, and knowledge; and

   

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, hereby designates September 7th - 9th as “Quad Council EEO Training Days” and further, wishes the conference participants the utmost productivity and success.
