Appointments to the Commission on Disabilities

Recommendation

Appoint Susan Castoria, representing the Community at Large, to replace Katy Rhoades, to a term expiring June 30, 2006.

Appoint Amanda Pyle, representing Developmental Disabilities, to replace Ina Pottorff, to a term expiring June 30, 2007.

Background

Katy Rhoades resigned from the Commission on Disabilities leaving an unexpired term, ending on June 30, 2006. And, Ina Pottorff resigned from the Commission on Disabilities leaving an unexpired term, ending on June 30, 2007. In order to fill these vacancies on the Board of the Commission on Disabilities, an interview panel was established consisting of Supervisor Jerry Hill, Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson, Robert Manchia, Board Member from the Commission on Disabilities, and Craig McCulloh, staff to the Commission on Disabilities.
