RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH DULIN ADVERTISING, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF ADVERTISING SERVICES TO SAN MATEO COUNTY

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, it is necessary to have comprehensive recruitment advertising services provided and a Request for Proposal for such services was conducted;

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval an agreement with Dulin Advertising, Inc. for provision of advertising services to the County for the period October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2008, with the right of the Director of Employee and Public Services in her discretion, to extend the contract to September 30, 2009 and September 30, 2010 in an amount not to exceed $450,000 for three years, plus $150,000 for its fourth year, plus $150,000 if the County exercises its fifth year option;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter the agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
