RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 65720 CONCERNING THE TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE FOR CERTAIN UNREPRESENTED MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors desires to amend certain salaries and benefits for unrepresented Management personnel not covered by a Memorandum of Understanding, including elected officials that are set forth in Resolution No 65720, and

BE IT RESOLVED that Section 1, paragraph 11 of Resolution 65720 “Expressing The Salary And Benefits of Unrepresented Management Personnel of The County of San Mateo” is hereby amended to read as follows and effective the pay period commencing October 9, 2005,the transportation allowance for unrepresented Management personnel and elected officials and shall be as set for the below:

11. Transportation Allowance In Lieu Of Traveling Expenses

Effective the pay period commencing October 9, 2005, in lieu of reimbursement for transportation expenses for travel within San Mateo County, the City and County of San Francisco, Alameda County, Contra Costa County and Santa Clara County, members of the Board of Supervisors and the County Manager may elect to receive a maximum biweekly transportation allowance in the amount of $385. Department heads, elected officials, and certain management employees designated by the County Manager may elect to receive such a transportation allowance in a maximum biweekly amount not to exceed $385 dependent on usage and approval by the County Manager.

All other provisions of Resolution 65720 shall remain in full force and effect.
