RECOMMENDATION:

Resolution authorizing the President of the Board to execute an agreement with John Maltbie for employment as County Manager.
|

DISCUSSION:
|
The proposed contract has the same terms as the previous contract, except for the following:
|
|
|
1.
|
New term through March 31, 2009.
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Increase in the annual cash out of vacation option to 360 hours. This does not increase the annual vacation accrual but just the amount that can be annually cashed out.
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Consideration by the Board of compensation merit raises to be effective on January 1, 2007 and January 1, 2008.
