Resolution Designating Twenty-Minute Time Limited Parking Zones
in Public Rights-Of-Ways

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish time limited parking zones in public rights-of-ways; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that certain previously approved time limited parking zones continue, and that new time limited parking zones be established to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Twenty-minute time limited parking zones are declared to exist at the following locations:

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of AVENUE PORTOLA commencing at a point 160 westerly of the intersection of AVENUE ALHAMBRA and extending westerly a distance of 55 feet, more or less.

 
 

Ø

On the easterly side of AVY AVENUE commencing at a point 55 feet northeast of the intersection of ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS and extending northeasterly a distance of 20 feet more or less, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., holidays excepted.

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 180 feet easterly of the intersection of HURLINGAME AVENUE and extending easterly a distance of 40 feet, more or less.

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 130 feet easterly of the intersection of DOUGLAS AVENUE and extending easterly a distance of 63 feet, more or less.

 
 

Ø

On the northerly side of FIFTH AVENUE commencing at a point 62 feet southwesterly of the intersection of WAVERLY AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 85 feet, more or less.

On the southeasterly side of HARBOR BOULEVARD commencing at a point 187 feet northeasterly of the intersection of ELMER STREET and extending northeasterly a distance of 21 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 o’clock A.M. and 6:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the southeasterly side of HARBOR BOULEVARD commencing at a point 623 feet southwesterly of the intersection of INDUSTRIAL WAY and extending southwesterly a distance of 58 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 o’clock A.M. and 6:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the southeasterly side of HARBOR BOULEVARD commencing at a point 206 feet northeasterly of the intersection of OLD COUNTY ROAD and extending southwesterly a distance of 22 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 o’clock A.M. and 6:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the northeasterly side of HILLSIDE BOULEVARD commencing at a point 176 feet southeasterly of the intersection of LINDEN AVENUE and extending southeasterly a distance of 97 feet, more or less.

On the southerly side of VILLA STREET commencing at a point 21 feet southerly of the intersection of HILLSIDE BOULEVARD and extending southeasterly a distance of 38 feet, more or less.

On the northwesterly side of WARRINGTON AVENUE commencing at a point 25 feet southwesterly of the intersection of SAN MATEO AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 30 feet, more or less.

Said twenty-minute time limited parking zones shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
