Resolution Designating Thirty-Minute Time Limited Parking Zones
in Public Rights-Of-Ways

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish time limited parking zones in public rights-of-ways; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that certain previously approved time limited parking zones continue, and that new time limited parking zones be established to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

Thirty-minute time limited parking zones are declared to exist at the following locations:

Ø

On the westerly side of EAST SELBY LANE commencing at a point 80 feet southwesterly of the intersection of EL CAMINO REAL, State Highway 82, and extending northeasterly a distance of 53 feet, more or less.

Ø

On the southeasterly side of HURLINGAME AVENUE commencing at a point 177 feet southwesterly of the intersection of BAY ROAD and extending southwesterly a distance of 34 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 o’clock A.M. and 6:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

Said thirty-minute time limited parking zones shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
