Resolution Designating One Hour Time Limited Parking Zones
in Public Rights-Of-Ways

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish time limited parking zones in public rights-of-ways; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that certain previously approved time limited parking zones continue, and that new time limited parking zones be established to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

One hour time limited parking zones are declared to exist at the following locations:

Ø

On the southeasterly side of AMHERST AVENUE commencing at a point 210 feet northeasterly of the intersection of EL CAMINO REAL, State Highway 82, and extending northeasterly a distance of 150 feet, more or less.

Ø

On the westerly side of AVY AVENUE commencing at a point 85 feet southerly of ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS and extending southerly a distance of 58 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Sundays and holidays excepted.

Ø

On the southeasterly side of BARRON AVENUE commencing at a point 69 feet northeasterly of SPRING STREET and extending northeasterly a distance of 162 feet, more or less.

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 40 feet northerly of the intersection of CHARTER STREET and extending northerly a distance of 16 feet, more or less.

Ø

On the northerly side of BRAGATO ROAD commencing at a point 110 feet easterly of the intersection of GLENN WAY and extending northerly a distance of 66 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted.

On the southerly side of EIGHTY-SEVENTH STREET commencing at a point 616 feet easterly of the intersection of WASHINGTON STREET and extending easterly a distance of 40 feet, more or less.

On the southerly side of EIGHTY-SEVENTH STREET commencing at a point 15 feet westerly of the intersection of EDGEWORTH AVENUE and extending westerly a distance of 60 feet, more or less.

On the northerly side of CHARTER STREET commencing at a point 148 feet westerly of the intersection of BAY ROAD and extending westerly a distance of 70 feet, more or less.

On the southwesterly side of ELMER STREET commencing at a point 189 feet northwesterly of the intersection of HARBOR BOULEVARD and extending northwesterly a distance of 24 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 o’clock A.M. and 5:00 o’clock P.M., Sundays and holidays other than Saturday afternoon excepted.

On the southerly side of FAIR OAKS AVENUE commencing at a point 90 feet easterly of the intersection of HAMPSHIRE AVENUE and extending easterly a distance of 40 feet, more or less.

On the northwesterly side of FIFTH AVENUE commencing at a point 33 feet southwesterly of the intersection of GLENDALE AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 97 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the northerly side of FIRST AVENUE commencing at a point 25 feet southwesterly of the intersection of FLOOD AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 87 feet, more or less.

On the northwesterly side of HARBOR BOULEVARD commencing at a point 158 feet northeasterly of the intersection INDUSTRIAL WAY and extending northeasterly a distance of 144 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 o’clock A.M. and 5:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the southeasterly side of HARBOR BOULEVARD commencing at a point 555 feet northeasterly of the intersection of OLD COUNTY ROAD and extending northeasterly a distance of 52 feet, more or less.

On the easterly side of HILLSIDE BOULEVARD commencing at a point 120 feet southerly of the intersection of SYLVAN STREET and extending southerly a distance of 60 feet, more or less.

On the northwesterly side of HURLINGAME AVENUE commencing at a point 160 feet northwesterly of the intersection of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD and extending northwesterly a distance of 750 feet, more or less.

On the northwesterly side of HURLINGAME AVENUE commencing at a point 100 feet southwesterly of the intersection of SAN MATEO AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 30 feet, more or less.

On the northwesterly side of HURLINGAME AVENUE commencing at a point 30 feet southwesterly of the intersection of SAN MATEO AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 30 feet, more or less.

On the southerly side of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD commencing at a point 46 feet northwesterly of the intersection of PACIFIC AVENUE and extending northwesterly a distance of 104 feet, more or less.

On the northeasterly side of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD commencing at a point 52 feet southeasterly of the intersection of PACIFIC AVENUE and extending southeasterly a distance of 49 feet, more or less.

On the easterly side of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD commencing at a point 36 feet southerly of the intersection of DOUGLAS AVENUE and extending southerly a distance of 33 feet, more or less.

On the northeasterly side of OLD COUNTY ROAD commencing at a point 172 feet northwesterly of the intersection of HARBOR BOULEVARD and extending northwesterly a distance of 95 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 o’clock A.M. and 5:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the westerly side of OLD COUNTY ROAD commencing at a point 50 feet northwesterly of the most northerly Southern Pacific Rail Road spur track and extending northwesterly a distance of 50 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 o’clock A.M. and 5:00 o’clock P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

On the southeasterly side of PACIFIC AVENUE commencing at a point 91 feet southerly of the intersection of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD and extending southerly a distance of 49 feet, more or less.

On the westerly side of REINER STREET commencing at a point 240 feet northerly of the intersection of “A” STREET and extending northerly a distance of 228 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

Said one-hour time limited parking zones shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
