RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND
THE LEONARD SHUSTEK TRUST AND DONNA L. DUBINSKY TRUST
TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING AT
100 SERENITY VALLEY ROAD, PESCADERO

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, on July 15, 2004, the County approved a Coastal Development Permit and a Resource Management District Permit (County File No. PLN 2002-00510) to locate a 1,350 sq. ft. manufactured residence (with 400 sq. ft. attached garage) at 100 Serenity Valley Road, APN 087-090-100; and

 

WHEREAS, as a condition of the approved permits, the Owner of the subject Property, Leonard Shustek Trust and Donna L. Dubinsky Trust, is required to enter into an Agreement to restrict use of the residence as permanent affordable housing; and

 

WHEREAS, in fulfillment of this requirement, the County of San Mateo, and the Leonard Shustek Trust and Donna L. Dubinsky Trust wish to enter into an Agreement to provide one permanent affordable housing unit at 100 Serenity Valley Road, Pescadero; and

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the Leonard Shustek Trust and Donna L. Dubinsky Trust or their successors in interest, will provide a housing unit for very low, low or moderate income households at 100 Serenity Valley Road, Pescadero (APN 087-090-100) throughout the life of the unit; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has examined and approved said Agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto, and the County Manager, or his designee, is directed to record the executed agreement and all other necessary documents to complete the recordation.
