RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO, BY AND THROUGH THE SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT COMMISSION, FOR ADVANCE FUNDING FOR THE NOISE INSULATION PROJECT IN THE FOURTH QUARTER 1999 STATE 65 dB CNEL AIRCRAFT NOISE CONTOUR

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on June 27, 2000, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution Number 63738, authorized an Agreement whereby the City and County of San Francisco, by and through the San Francisco Airport Commission, would provide advance funding to the County of San Mateo to pay for the costs of noise insulation for eligible properties within the Fourth Quarter 1999 State 65 dB CNEL aircraft noise contour; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to further amend the Agreement to add advance funding to noise insulate an eligible private school by increasing the maximum amount by $2,437,650, changing the maximum amount of the Agreement from $251,600 to $2,689,250, and

WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with this First Amendment and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and the Clerk of this said Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
