RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT 05MHF074 WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA MANAGED RISK MEDICAL INSURANCE BOARD TO ALLOW THE STATE TO PROVIDE MATCHING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $897,379 FOR THE TERM OF JULY 1, 2005 – JUNE 30, 2007.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County guarantees that all County low-income children have health insurance;

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval, an agreement with the State of California’s Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board in the amount of $897,379 for the term July 1, 2005 – June 30, 2007 to receive matching funds for the Children’s Health Initiative;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with this Agreement and other related documents and has approved it as to both form and content, and desires to enter into said Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
