RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH WORKBRAIN, INC. TO PROVIDE SOFTWARE LICENSING AND MAINTENANCE AND THE PURCHASE OF ADDITONAL LICENSED SOFTWARE; EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES; AND GRANTING SIGNATURE AUTHORITY TO THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER TO EXECUTE SUBSEQUENT ADDITIONAL AMENDMENTS AND MINOR MODIFICATIONS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED AN ADDITIONAL $25,000.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement with Workbrain, Inc. for software licensing and maintenance and for licensed software purchases enumerated within the Agreement for the term March 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007 with a combined amount not to exceed $699,000;

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement with Workbrain, Inc. to provide implementation services in an amount not to exceed $872,980;consideration and acceptance an Amendment to the County’s October 21, 2003 Agreement with Verizon Wireless Messaging Services to provide a countywide paging system for the term January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006; and

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a request to grant signature authority to the Chief Information Officer to execute additional subsequent amendments and minor modifications not to exceed an additional 25,000; and

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

1) That the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said Agreements as approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto; 2) Signature authority is granted to the Chief Information Officer to execute subsequent amendments and minor modifications in an amount not to exceed $25,000.
