RESOLUTION: (1) WAIVING THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS; (2) AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH EASY ACCESS, INC. FOR ANALYTICAL AND TECHNICAL SERVICES TO UPGRADE EXISTING ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS, FROM THE DATE OF EXECUTION THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2006, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $161,200; AND (3) AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT HEAD TO EXECUTE AMENDMENTS, NOT TO EXCEED $25,000 CUMULATIVELY, TO MODIFY THE WORK

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance the form of an agreement (reference to which is hereby made for further particulars) whereby Easy Access, Inc. will provide analytical and technical services to upgrade existing assessment systems for unsecured and secured properties, from the date of execution through December 31, 2006, for an amount not to exceed $161,200; and;

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved said agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into it; and

WHEREAS, the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder has requested authority to execute amendments of said agreement, modifying the statement of work in amounts not to exceed $25,000 cumulatively;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that (1) the Request for Proposal process is waived; (2) the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the signature thereto; and (3) the Department Head is authorized to execute amendments of said agreement, modifying the statement of work in amounts not to exceed $25,000 cumulatively.
