RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF ELECTIONS OFFICER TO RENDER SPECIFIED ELECTION SERVICES FOR THE TOWN OF COLMA IN CONJUNCTION WITH A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON

TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 2006.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, pursuant to State Law, the Town Council of the Town of Colma adopted Resolution No. 2006-02 giving notice of holding a Special Election on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, for the purpose of submitting an ordinance to the voters of the Town and requesting the Board of Supervisors to permit the county elections official to render specified services to the Town relating to the conduct of the Special Election; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Elections Officer has been asked to perform certain services in conjunction with this Election; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Elections Officer is agreeable to providing election services to the Town of Colma; and

WHEREAS, in consideration of services and supplies provided by the Chief Elections Officer, Town of Colma will reimburse the County for the costs of these services and supplies.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED
that the President of this Board of Supervisors authorizes the Chief Elections Officer to render specified election services for the April 11, 2006 Special Municipal Election.
