RECOMMENDATION:

Accept DAAB’s 2005 annual report.

Goal(s): Civic engagement -- including voting, public service, charitable giving, volunteerism, and participation in public discussions of important issues -- is uniformly high among the diverse population of San Mateo County.

BACKGROUND:

The Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board will be formally presenting their Annual Report to the Board of Supervisors on March 14^th. You should have already received a copy of the report for your review.

DAAB is eager to hear back from the Board on any comments or suggestions that may help to improve future reports or the operations of the organization in general.
