Appointment to the Design Review Committee

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that K. Christine Vogel be appointed to the Design Review Committee. This appointment would be as the alternate from El Granada and the term of the appointment would be through 3/31/07.

BACKGROUND:

There is one vacancy on the Design Review Committee.

The Design Review Committee is authorized at twenty-two members. Currently there is one vacancy. This vacancy was advertised and we conducted interviews of applicants. We are recommending the appointment of the following individual:

K. Christine Vogel is currently retired. She was most recently senior librarian at Martin Luther King Jr. Main Library in San Jose. She was also a board member of Committee for Green Foothills, and Vice President of Midcoast Park Lands.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.
