RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A TAX-EXEMPT MASTER LEASE AGREEMENT WITH KEY GOVERNMENT FINANCE INC. FOR NETWORK EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO PURCHASES/LEASES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a Tax-Exempt Master Lease Agreement with Key Government Finance, Inc. for the period of March 28, 2006 through March 27, 2009 to enter into five year network equipment leases as outlined in the County’s RFP# 1165 for a total obligation of $4,000,000.00;

WHEREAS, this Board authorizes the Purchasing Agent to enter into said purchasing/lease Agreements; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with an Agreement, said Board has examined and approved said Agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into same;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors executes said Agreement and authorizes the Purchasing Agent to execute purchase orders and leases with Key Government Finance, Inc. on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
